 3.      Handmade chocolate from Black Hound

 4.      Cocktails at the Campbell Apartment

The Campbell Apartment is a gorgeous intimate bar, set ,surprisingly enough, at the Grand Central Terminal.  The space that once was the office and salon of a 2o’s business mogul, now serves the best cocktails in town in the beautifully refurbished space. Make sure to get there before the evening commuters or later at night, after they all hoped on the train, leaving you to enjoy yourselves in this classy unique bar.

5.      The Best Romantic Café – La Maison du Macaron

When dining in this beautiful Chelsea gem, you won’t be able to help but notice the colorful arrangement of little handmade macaroons. We don’t need to tell you to try, because you probably won’t be able to resist. In addition, La Maison offers wonderful coffee, breakfasts and traditional French patisseries. In our opinion, you couldn’t get more romantic than that!

6.      A Concert at The Bowery Ballroom

What’s better than a music concert on a special romantic date? Whether your musical  taste veers toward Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, the Arctic Monkeys or Lauryn Hill, The Bowery Ballroom holds one of the best musical line-ups in the city on any given night.

7.      Ice Skating at Rockefeller Center

This is a classical romantic “playdate” venue, but we have a tip: to avoid the crowd, come early, if it’s during the holiday choose morning time, and for week days come before 4 p.m. you will get to enjoy the skating experience in a quieter, more  intimate way. For those of you struggling with skating, a half an hour skating lesson could be a nice surprise.

But remember, what matters most is the one you choose to spend your romantic weekend with. Because, admit it, when you in love, every place looks very romantic indeed.
